In the category of Concrete Commercial & Industrial, Commercial Building Projects, one of the winning projects is the Northpointe Custom Office/Storage center in the Noblesville area. Recipients include the following individuals and/or organizations: Kurt Bolden, Walsh Engineering, RDJ Commercial, Nucrete Construction, Inc., and Beaver Material.

The Northpointe Custom Office/Storage project creates a unique multi-use facility. Its purpose is for RV storage with enough area that one could literally live there at the same time. There were 2400 cubic yards of concrete used in this project. This facility allows for inside hookups for winter use. The upper floor provides an area for community rooms for social activities.

This project incorporated a variety of concrete mixes. The pre-cast concrete walls are an exposed aggregate finish with “thin brick inserts”. Flowable fill was used in the interior around the buried utility lines. One bay is to be used for the washing of vehicles, and was finished using Pervious concrete. The interior walls are also pre-cast concrete.
