National Safety Week 2025: All In Together

Promoting a Culture of Safety Across Indiana’s Concrete Industry

Each year, National Safety Week serves as a powerful reminder of the responsibility we all share to ensure the safety and well-being of every individual on a job site. This year’s theme, “All In Together”, reflects a simple truth: safety is a team effort. At the Indiana Ready Mixed Concrete Association, we proudly stand with our members and industry partners in recognizing the importance of this week and in celebrating the everyday actions that build a stronger safety culture.

Why Safety Week Matters

Whether working in concrete production, trucking, construction, or engineering, the environments our members operate in are inherently complex and physically demanding. National Safety Week is a chance to refocus on the practices, tools, and communication strategies that prevent accidents and protect lives. But more than that, it's a moment to appreciate the leadership and vigilance required at every level, from front-line workers to top-level management.

A Collective Responsibility

True safety isn’t achieved through policy alone, it’s a mindset. It’s cultivated when teams hold one another accountable, communicate clearly, and consistently practice proactive awareness on every job. By working together and being, All In Together, we ensure everyone goes home safe.

This week, we encourage all IRMCA members to:

  • Revisit safety protocols and training with your teams
  • Celebrate your safety successes and share stories of improvement
  • Participate in National Safety Week activities or toolbox talks
  • Recognize individuals who consistently uphold a high standard of safety

Stay Engaged with IRMCA

We’re proud of the progress Indiana’s concrete industry has made in workplace safety and we’re committed to going further. As we continue building stronger roads, structures, and communities, we’ll keep building a stronger safety culture, too.
