Attendees will learn how deciding on concrete construction of their roundabout leads to a more durable pavement that decreases the life cycle cost of the intersection. This is accomplished through constructing a more rigid pavement that eliminates the shoving and rutting other pavements consider when estimating future maintenance requirements.
Another factor that is considered is the increased safety, (the reason for the popularity of roundabouts) that comes from a higher light reflectivity of the concrete pavement and the uneven ride that can develop from rutting and shoving being eliminated. Finally, though not always considered, from a sustainability perspective, working with concrete and newer cements lead to a pavement that is much more sustainable in the pursuit of carbon reduction.
Guided by expert instructors from IU-Indy, this program covers leadership fundamentals, decision-making, team dynamics, and real-world application, giving participants a solid foundation to excel in their roles. Each session focuses on a key leadership aspect, ensuring a well-rounded and immersive learning experience.

The IRMCA MDC is a comprehensive mixer truck driver competition. With a 50-question written exam, a truck inspection assessment, and a 10-station Challenge Course, this is the Ready Mix Competition to experience!
This event is the qualifier for the annual National Mixer Driver Championship competition, held annually in October.

Join your favorite Hoosier Ready Mix Concrete Association for a fun afternoon of golf, concrete camaraderie, and scholarship fundraising! All proceeds from this golf outing will directly fund the IRMCA scholarship program.
Through our generous fundraising donations, we are able to award a monetary scholarship every year to an Indiana student who is studying Engineering or Construction Management with future career goals to work in concrete. It is our goal to encourage the future generation to enter the world of concrete design and construction by awarding these scholarships.
