2026 Mixer Drivers Championship

The IRMCA Mixer Drivers Championship [MDC] is the qualifying event for the annual NRMCA Mixer Drivers Championship competition.

The IRMCA holds this yearly, qualifying event to build company and state spirit, as well as to recognize many of our IRMCA Members' key employees. We celebrate 18 years of MDC in IN this year!

The IRMCA MDC is a comprehensive mixer truck driver competition. With a 50-question written exam, a truck inspection assessment, and a 10-station Challenge Course, this is the Ready Mix Competition to experience!

Jon Sheets of Irving Materials, Inc. is the winner of the IRMCA Mixer Driver Competition, for the second year in a row. Taking home the title in both 2025 and 2026, Jon is a prime example of a premium driver.

The 2026 IRMCA Mixer Driver Championship takes place July 24-25, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Wishing good luck to 21 mixer drivers representing seven IRMCA Producer Member companies as they compete for the opportunity to advance to the NRMCA National Mixer Driver Championship.

MDC Driver Requirements

Eligibility Requirements

  1. All driver applicants must be current employees of IRMCA Member Companies, in good standing.
  2. All applicants must hold a valid CDL (Class A or B) and a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
  3. No driver, regardless of credentials, is guaranteed eligibility in the IRMCA MDC.
  4. The winner of the IRMCA MDC will be entered into the NRMCA Mixer Driver Championship, as long as; the IRMCA MDC Winner's Company is also an NRMCA Member, in good standing.
  5. The final determination of the IRMCA MDC Representative for the NRMCA Championship will be determined by the IRMCA Mixer Driver Championship Task Force.

Registered Drivers/Company
The maximum number of competing drivers per company depends on number of company trucks.
    1  -   99  Trucks = Drivers/Company
100 - 149  Trucks = 3 Drivers/Company
150 - 199  Trucks = 4 Drivers/Company
200 - 249 Trucks = 5 Drivers/Company
